Airbnb is about to implement the current changes and features this 2016 in response to the comments and suggestions of its users and hosts for 2015. Using the feedback received from their customers and host, the bed and breakfast online lodging service is creating diverse ways to improve their customer service.

According to Airbnb's official blog site reveals some of the improvements and new features that it will launch this 2016 to be able to provide its guests and hosts with the best service they can offer. To prevent disputes about expectations from customers, guests will now be send with the expectations to what hosts can provide to them upon booking an accommodation. The booking app will also include a software that will identify if the photo uploaded by a gusts is indeed a photo of the guest, not a faded one, to protect both hosts and guests.

Smart pricing, business ready listings for longer stays and connecting with fellow hosts will be introduced and improved this coming year.

Meanwhile earlier reports via Realty Today indicated that industries like Airbnb are creating a grey market in the hotel and accommodation industry. Unlike hotels that are bounded by strict laws and regulations, Airbnb and other freelance operating accommodation facilities does not necessarily comply with all the basic regulations and laws governing the hotel and accommodation industry.

Hoteliers are also worried with the growing number of competition Airbnb has been giving to the industry. Since Airbnb seems to be unbounded with the restrictions and laws that hotels implements, they feel that Airbnb should not be getting a slice in the hospitality market.

Airbnb continues to grow as one of the preferred hosting options for travelers around the world. However, there is no sure guarantee that this kind of services will become a threat to the hotel industry or will pose detrimental effects to the tourism and hospitality market.
