Even though he doesn't have a lot of movies out recently, Jaden Smith is still taking over the world thanks to his large follower base on social media. The results seemed to pay off, considering that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith's son is now the new face of Louis Vuitton.

Smith has always had an eclectic style - wearing dresses as shirts - which is probably why the French luxury brand tapped him to star in the spring/summer 2016 collection campaign.

According to Billboard, Louis Vuitton creative director Nicholas Ghesquiere first announced the news on his Instagram account on Saturday, January 2nd.

Smith is featured wearing leather jacket on top of a fringed striped top, as a necktie wraps around his hand. The caption read, "Happy to introduce Jaden Smith @christiaingrey in the new SS16 @louisvuitton ad Campaign photographed by Bruce Weber."

In his press release via PEOPLE, Ghesquiere explains the idea behind the collaboration:

"Why does Jaden Smith star in this campaign? He represents a generation that has assimilated the codes of true freedom, one that is free of manifestos and questions about gender. Wearing a skirt comes as naturally to him as it would to a woman who, long ago, granted herself permission to wear a man's trench or a tuxedo. Jaden Smith conveys something very interesting about the integrations of a global wardrobe. He's found an instinctive balance that makes his extraordinary attitude a new norm. That really inspired me in the creative process for this collection."

Just a day after announcing the new campaign, Ghesquiere posted another snap from the campaign, this time featuring models Sarah Brannon, Rianna Van Rompaey and Jean Campbell.

While most guys wouldn't normally do a Louis Vuitton womenswear campaign, it seems as though Jaden Smith doesn't really mind - after all, he does look good in a skirt!

Jaden Smith net worth is $8 million.
