Tom Brady was noticeably limping and feeling "pretty sore" after the New England Patriots' season ending 20-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 3, Sunday. Fortunately, the results of the MRI he took early Monday did not reveal any break or fracture.

According to ESPN, Brady took a big hit from Dolphins defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh during the second quarter.

"I've had plenty worse injuries than this one," Brady told sports radio WEEI on Monday morning. "Suh is a big guy and he just came down on the back of me. Obviously, however big he is -- 300 pounds -- and he just kind of collapses on the back of your legs, there is going to be some residual damage to that. It's part of football."

Brady needed medical attention on the sideline after the incident. The medical staff and the athletic training staff re-taped his right ankle, which did not keep him out of the game. However, the Patriots replaced him with backup Jimmy Garoppolo on their last drive with only one minute and 56 seconds remaining when they were trailing 20-10.

After their fourth loss in the last six weeks, Brady affirmed that despite the injury, he should be okay by the time the divisional round comes in two weeks, as reported by Boston Herald.

"We'll be ready to go two weeks from now," Brady said. "I think that will be the most important time for me to be out there and be out there healthy, ready to go. We'll have a great couple weeks of practice; see if we can be as prepared as possible for our biggest game of the year."

On the other hand, the Patriots will need to have Julian Edelman ready just in case Brady will not be able to play for the team's biggest game of the year. With Edelman sidelined with an injury, the offense has stumbled, for most part. His return is important for a deep playoff run.
