Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis and TV-producer Shane Farley were seen together in Mexico over New Year's. The two are getting even closer, and Farley, who's divorcing his wife of 15 years, wants to be a part of Giada's business.
The business empire of Giada includes Food Network shows such as "Giada Entertains" and "Food Network Star" with Bobby Flay, a restaurant in Las Vegas, and books with titles "Happy Cooking" and "Everyday Italian."
A former executive producer of VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live with Nick Lachey," Farley moved to Los Angeles after filing for a divorce in March from his wife, Jennifer Giamo. Farley is now the executive producer of the daytime show "FABLife."
A source said, "The show's likely getting cancelled and Shane's thinking of his next chapter." Farley wants to be Giada's manager, someone who will oversee the entire business. "He could do a really good job. It's bigger than just TV," added the source.
According to a Page Six report, it was only in August that De Laurentiis began dating Farley, just months after he left New York. Sources told PageSix that Giamo was meeting with friends familiar with Farley "to see if Shane started dating Giada while she was still with him." But a rep of Giamo said: "My client has elected to take the high road."
Giada De Laurentiis has confirmed that she has been dating following her divorce earlier this year.
A Celebitchy report said that when news broke out that celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis was in love with TV producer, Shane Farley, his wife of 15 years was shocked, as her and Farley were still in the process of divorcing. A source has said about the new couple, "They just left off, he's technically still married. When he first met Giada, he was still very much married."
It was reported that Farley and De Laurentiis first met in 2013 when he produced a show for Giada and Bobby Flay.
