If you have been following the mobile industry's behavior in the past years, you might have also noticed that the CES gradually sees less OEM year after year. Well, there are still brands that manage to tag along a couple of products to showcase, and Acer is one of them this year. The popular computer manufacturer brought one interesting Win10 device, but it's barely "new" as it is their previously announced "Acer Liquid Jade Primo".
The "Acer Liquid Jade Primo" has previously been announced in IFA and it even stood out from the rest of the Acer Windows mobile phones, primarily because of its high end specs and the presence of the popular Windows Continuum function, which was still fresh during the time and wasn't usually featured in other products.
The double announcement is quite excusable as the "Acer Liquid Jade Primo" may have just acted as a tech presentation last year. However, the problem is that its specs did not improve during its second announcement, so there really isn't a lot of things to get excited for this time.
"Acer Liquid Jade Primo" Specs
The "Acer Liquid Jade Primo" comes with a 5.5 inch screen with FullHD display. The chipset used is a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC chip and its RAM size is a good 3 GB. The internal storage is 32 GB and its cameras include an 8 MP front shooter and a 21 MP rear cam with dual LED flash and 4K recording. It runs Windows 10 with Microsoft Continuum whose asset is to allow you to experience PC productivity using a compatible dock.
"Acer Liquid Jade Primo" Price, Release Date
"Acer Liquid Jade Primo" is expected to begin its sale in Europe on February. As to the price, it should come with a $600 price tag. According to GSMarena, US release will follow after that.
