Retired Hall of Fame American professional basketball player James Worthy has sold his mansion located in Bel-Air for $2.025 million, a report from Los Angeles Times said.
According to the report, Worthy's residential property is a two-story building in the gated Bel-Air Crest. It was said that the whole property was originally listed for sale back in September last year for $2.195 million.
However, it should be noted that the property was removed from the market in November. According to property records, Worthy bought the palatial mansion 10 years ago for $945, 000.
"Within nearly 3,900 square feet of space is an eat-in kitchen, formal living and dining rooms, a wet bar and a media/game room. Cathedral-style ceilings, wood and tile floors and a pair of fireplaces are among the interior details. The two-story house in the guard-gated Bel-Air Crest has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in nearly 3,900 square feet of living space. A total of four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms includes a master suite complete with dual vanities and a jetted soaking tub. French doors open to a paver patio hedged by mature trees. A two-car garage sits off the front of the home," the report said.
Worthy was hired by the popular basketball team Lakers back in September last year. He was tasked to share his coaching skills to help improve the team's performance. Since 2012, the 54-year old former professional basketball player was also an in-house studio analyst of SportsNet, a television show produced by Time Warner Cable.
"James Worthy is a retired American professional basketball player who has a net worth of $10 million. James Worthy has earned his net worth from his successful career in American college and professional basketball.
