HomeAway remains to be one of the leading innovators in vacation home rentals today. To be able to seize the opportunity the vacation rental homes offer, HomeAway is appointing three new global marketing hires coming from world-class brands to help the company with their global marketing.
HomeAway recently released a press release announcing the hiring of three marketing strategists for their company as it plans to dominate the world with the latest marketing strategies available for the vacation rental market. The three global hires came from Dell, Electronic Arts and Whole Foods Market and are bound to help the company in keeping the top spot for the vacation home rental market.
HomeAway Chief Marketing Officer Mariano Dima expressed the excitement of the company over the direction they are leaning into. "We're thrilled to add new leadership to our already-strong marketing team, and we look forward to working together as we continue to increase awareness of whole-home rentals and remain the undisputed leader in the category," he said.
Meanwhile, another start-up, Homads Inc, is continuously testing the waters since October for vacation stays for more than a month. Unlike HomeAway and AirBnB which offer daily rentals, Homads will be tapping into the long-term vacation rental market with a different fee structure in tow, Biz Journal reports.
Homads explained that it will be in a completely different marketplace. The start-up has already attracted 65 costumers during the beta testing of their service.
The vacation rental market has become very interesting not only for hotels but for companies like HomeAway, AirBnb and Homads as well. Tourists and travelers are leaning into more interesting and exciting experiences, opening up opportunities for the rental market to create new facets in the rental industry.
Meanwhile, to remain on top and to keep up with the current competition in vacation rental homes, HomeAway is expected to launch new marketing campaigns and strategies.
