Microsoft co-founder Paull Allen has bought a new palatial mansion located in the popular Washington's Mercer Island. Allen purchased the real estate property for $5.4 million because he loves the ambience of the place, a report from Realtor said.
According to the report, Allen's newly owned luxurious mansion in the Mercer island is "pricey." The popular American philanthropist and innovator is said to own a total of 11 real estate properties in the said island.
Aside from his several houses on Mercer Island, Allen has reportedly bought a luxurious real estate property in Malibu, specifically in a location dubbed as the "Billionaire's Beach."
"His newest house on Mercer Island is a 1948 bungalow, which measures 3,320 square feet. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. While Allen keeps a 10,000-square-foot estate -- featuring a helipad and concert hall -- for himself, his other homes on the island are guesthouses, including one just for his mom," the report said.
Allen, who is one of the richest men, also owns and sails an Octopus, which is one of the world's expensive and largest yachts. It was said that Allen's Octopus yacht features a spacious submarine which he loans out for certain research projects.
