To ensure that the men and women who served the country, and ensure that Veterans feel the love and joy that is felt for the service done for the country, some of America's biggest and most patriotic brands are giving our brave Veterans some treats on this day to commemorate their bravery.

Several goodies and freebies can be availed by our veterans and active military men and women looking to get some freebies, not only today but in some days too. All that is needed is a military ID while other stores and shops may require some other requirements.

This may not be a comprehensive list, but here are sample establishments and freebies that can be availed.

Celebrate the day or the next few days with some food from the following establishments:

Hooters, Applebee's, Chili's and California Pizza Kitchen - a free meal on Veteran's Day of up to $10.99 with any drink from a special menu to Vets and active military.

Golden Cora and Bonanza Steakhouses - is serving free dinner buffets (with beverages) from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Monday, Nov. 17, at all restaurants to anyone who is and who has served the Military.

Shoney's - offers its All-American Burger signature free to vets or active duty military all day on Veteran's day.

Red Robin - free Red's Tavern Double burger with Bottomless Steak Fries to vets and active military on Nov. 17.

Max & Erma's - offers a free cheeseburger combo and dessert to vets and active military on Veteran's day.

IHOP - offers vets and active military free Red, White and Blue Pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Bob Evans - has all-you-can-eat hotcakes on Veterans Day for both vets and active military.

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream and Yogurt shops - free single-scoop ice cream cones to both veterans and military personnel on Tuesday November 18.

Red Lobster - offers free appetizer through Thursday for veterans and active military personnel.

Krispy Kreme - to give free doughnuts and small coffee to both vets and active duty military on Veterans Day.

Charlie Brown's Steakhouse - eat free up to $20 on Veterans Day for both active and vets. 

DRINKS AND BEVERAGE

Starbucks - will be giving away, tall brewed coffee on Tuesday all US Military veterans and active duty service men can enjoy this with their spouses free.

CraftWorks Restaurant & Breweries, Gordon Biersch Brewery, Rock Bottom, Old Chicago Pizza and ChopHouse & Brewery - offers free craft beer to active and retired military on Tuesday November 18.

OTHER OFFERS

Great Clips shops - Veterans can choose between an on the spot free haircut or a card for a free haircut that can be redeemed until December 31St To Veterans who visit the shops on November 11.

24-Hour Fitness - offers free use of the health club to both vets and active military personnel until Tuesday.

Chuck E. Cheese - will give out 20 free tokens to US military vets and active duty military personnel through Saturday.

JDog Junk Removal and Hauling locations - offers free junk removal to disabled vets who book on Veterans Day.
