Supermodel Gigi Hadid has sold her apartment at 250 Bowery for $2.3 million in just six months after putting it on the market.
According to Curbed, Hadid has stayed in the apartment for only a year. It was originally listed for $2.5 million back in July, and was sold to 50NYU Inc. under its asking price. However, the 20-year-old model will not be homeless for long as she was seen looking at one of the last remaining apartments at Annabelle Selldorf's 10 Bond earlier this week with Zayn Malik.
The 935-square-foot lower Manhattan apartment has two bedrooms. Hadid bought it using the Yolanda Hadid Family Trust for $1.94 million. It is in a premiere location in Nolita.
In an article from Business Insider, Hadid and her rumored boyfriend Malik reportedly checked out a $6.49 million property in the NoHo neighborhood. Malik is said to be familiar with the real estate industry as he currently owns homes in the British Countryside and Los Angeles area.
On the other hand, Hadid's sold apartment is part of 250 Bowery, a 24-unit contemporary complex built in 2012. It is just blocks away from Nolita's most trendy bars and restaurants and just across the street from the New Museum.
The two bedrooms have huge windows and lots of bright lights, which is a good deal for downtown bedrooms. The master's bedroom has a walk-in closet, too. The living space is bright and feeling fresh with all-white décor, pale wood and Bowery views. There is a modern, well-lit bathroom, which is decked out with chrome fixtures and an extra-deep soaking tub. The huge kitchen boasts slab marble countertops and state-of-the-art appliances.
Meanwhile, Hadid is expected to throw in another g-string to her resume. She is the front-runner in the race for the well-desired spot of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which will hit the newsstands in early February.
