George and Amal Clooney's £10m riverside mansion in Berkshire that the couple bought in 2014 is currently being threatened by floodwater after Thames river burst its banks, The Telegraph reported.
The couple had been renovating the mansion that is located near Reading, Berkshire. The mansion has nine-bedrooms complete with a home cinema and 360-degree security.
The renovation of Clooney's property is nearly done which started after the couple got married in 2014. The home added a new 60ft swimming pool which is surrounded in reclaimed York stone, a pool house, a pergola and a tennis court.
A converted greenhouse will also feature a hot tub and 12-seater cinema. There are around 10 CCTV cameras along the mansion's perimeter that was installed by the builder.
The 17th century home is already luxurious even prior to its renovation. It boasts a gym and steam room, study, family room, a library, formal dining room, a cellar and a boat house. Its interior has book-lined walls, high ceilings, open fireplaces and chandeliers.
But their multi-million pound renovation might be spoiled as mud water flowed to a large area of their garden which is a result of the rising water levels of the river.
The Environment Agency warned areas that are low-lying because of the weeks of heavy rain that may cause flooding. It is possible that the water will spread inland and may also come within feet of the Grade II-listed bolthole of the "Tomorrowland" star.
"Levels on the River Thames at Reading have risen in response to recent rain. Showers on Monday may lead to flood water flowing out into low lying areas today," a spokesman for the Environment Agency told Mail Online.
"We advise everyone who lives in the flood plain to keep up to date with our flood alerts and to avoid swollen rivers and flood water."
Residents in the local area were also advised to be careful when going out because of the flood and to stay up-to-date with the latest flood warnings.
