Many of the human populace are obsessed with taking a peek at celebrity homes. Homes with massive spaces surrounding the structure, carports that are the size of a house, or walk-in closets as huge as an ordinary person's studio apartment, with tons of clothes inside, are just some of the imaginable features.

Celebrities' abodes, well most of them, can accommodate at least 30 guests in their living rooms, and comes with outdoor treats such as basketball and tennis courts, as well as swimming pools. These people's humongous refrigerators seem to pile half-a-year's worth of food supplies.

Here are a few celebrities who have got the most extravagant abodes.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoyed France so much that they decided to purchase a $60 million piece of property, People reported. Back in 2007, the Hollywood power couple got themselves Chateau Miraval, a 17th century French house that sits on top of 1,000 acres of land. The Chateau comes with 35 rooms and has its own vineyard.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey purchased an equally extravagant property, though in a different vibe, in 2001. Located in Santa Barbara, California, the property is a 23,000-square-foot Georgian-style house, Starmap reported. It came complete with majestic views of the ocean and nearby mountains that the host could not resist. She visited the Montecito Estate simply for her magazine, but ended up buying the $50 million-worth property. The El Descanso comes with six bedrooms, 14 baths, 10 fireplaces, and a guest house with its own pool. It also contains a barn, a wine cellar, an orchard, a tennis court, indoor and outdoor state-of-the-art theaters, and a high-tech gourmet kitchen.

Rihanna

Rihanna purchased a $22 million, 10,000-square-foot condo in One Sandy Lane resort in her home island, Barbados. It has five bedrooms, each one with its own terrace, is accessible to the beach, and has a magnificent view of the ocean. She also employs a total of 34 staff, which include security guards and gardeners.
