When things go wrong, it's easy to put the blame on anyone. Yet, when things go right, we seldom remember to commend the one who caused it. This is true in real estate, too. We can hardly appreciate a real estate agent unless he has done something to our liking.

On another note, is being able to close the deal right the only signifying factor that we can say this real estate broker is commendable, if not too useful? When can we really say that an agent is truly valuable?

He is knowledgeable.

Although this sounds kind of boring and bookish, being knowledgeable will bring you to places, including big time real estate sales. Real Estate ABC suggests that to be knowledgeable involves knowing your craft, which means having a preview of all the properties out in the market before you meet with your potential buyer. Being knowledgeable about every property you are about to deal will save your face in case you come across a very meticulous client. Even if you only have an average IQ, you will still sound professional and smart if you have much to say about anything especially on what you are selling.

He is hard-working.

Industriousness and diligence invite good impression, and if you have a good impression on your clients, you will earn their trust and the business deal will be good to go. Your hard work entails being always ready to go anywhere and check the properties that are in the current list. This is freelancing so you have to understand that sometimes you have to give more than receive less while you haven't closed any deal as yet. A hardworking agent is someone who should not be afraid to work under the heat of the sun just to address the needs of your customers.

He is a problem-solver.

We can do things ourselves but sometimes, we just need someone to do it for us. If things do not go the way we expect and it's disappointing us, we badly need someone who reset everything back to default. We need a problem-solver to level-off. We need a problem-solver to provide us solutions when we run out of them in our minds. We need a problem-solver to clean everything, even our own mess. We need a problem-solver and this is a fact.
