After failing to find a buyer for her Los Angeles home, Laraine Newman reduced the price of the property for $2.4 million.
According to Realtor, the original "Saturday Night Live" member and alum listed her 3,108-square-foot Spanish-style home for $2.59 million last year. Newman and her husband Chad Einbinder bought the property in the late 1970s for $279,000 and made major renovations and updates on it in the recent years.
Listing details reveal that the residence has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It was reported that one of the updates the couple has done to the place is the master bathroom which features a soaking tub and a shower and double vanities. The master bedroom also has a spacious closet space and a private office. The residence also has a chef's kitchen which has an open combined den and a marble top center island. This area is perfect for catering guests during gatherings and parties.
The grand entrance foyer leads to the living room and the formal dining room. There are also French doors which lead to the pergola-covered patio where people can also dine and enjoy.
Outside, there is also a sun-drenched pool and spa. The upper level is where the three bedrooms and the master suite are located. There is also an enormous garage where two cars can park, and it also offers a large storage area. The 18-foot garage can also be converted into a home gym just in case the new owner wants to renovate.
The house also features high-end amenities like the central AC and stainless steel appliances. It also has updated built-in sound systems, retractable TV and other modern utilities. The place is said to be located in the best part of Westwood, and it offers wonderful and stunning views of the city and also gives the residents a sense of privacy.
