But according to Pivot Desk, it will still be a big trend this year because it helps save space and energy. Open spaces may be okay for as long as there is enough room for every employee to be able to work undisturbed.
Facilities that Encourage Playfulness
According to Future of Work, offices that encourage playfulness like relaxation lounges with gaming facilities (video games, ping pong, pool table, etc.) promote a more harmonious company environment, which in turn encourages engagement among employees. Moreover, a recent Deloitte study has discovered that 87 percent of businesses who face challenges with culture and engagement use playful lifestyle amenities to solve this.
Preference for Green Building Practices.
According to Future of Work, more business will lean toward green building practices. In other words, these are way through which a structure is designed, built, renovated and then operated resource-efficient and environment-friendly manner. Moreover, the publication says that many businesses now favor LEED certified spaces and view energy conservation as both a cost-saving and integral part of company practices.
