Baseball agent Jonathan Weisz looks to be having a hard time parting ways with his sporty real estate property built with its own "Field of Dreams" style baseball field. The property has been listed on the market for more than a year now. It was offered for $9.995 million before the price was slashed by a million.

The sports-inspired home sits in a gated-community in Poway, about half an hour from northeast San Diego. According to L.A. Times, the home with "Field Of Dreams" style baseball field will be auctioned on Feb. 23 with a starting bid of $3.2 million. The property is now listed for an asking price of $8.995 million.

The three-story Mediterranean-style mansion covers an area of more than 12,764 feet land. Apart from the main house, an apartment and a guest house are included in the deal. The main features of the manse include nine bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.

Other highlights of the home with are a steam shower, dry sauna, full gym with a cold plunge, game and media room, and outdoor entertainment pavilion. Another focal point of the property is  a second parcel that the baseball agent built for his sons in 2007. The baseball diamond has a major-league size field and is covered with a white fence. Another attraction on the sports-centric property is a basketball half-court and a lighted batting cage located beneath the field, Yahoo Real Estate reports.

There are also horse facilities including a riding corral, stables, and pasture land. A pool with another waterfall, a slide and a lazy river are also designed in the mansion.

Weisz, a Major League Baseball-registered agent, purchased the two-parcel property in split transactions with a price of $2.7 million in 2004. The home is listed with Anna Houssels and Brittany Hahn and Mary Jo Atkins of Pacific Sotheby's International Realty.
