Real estate firm Keller Williams is not slowing down on its acquisition of agents which is pointing to a strategy heavily focused on using high value agents as the core of the company's growth.

According to Inman, the number of people employed by Keller Williams increased by 19 percent in 2015 which ballooned the population of the company to 133,000. This includes agents, management personnel, coaches and staff. It further widened its hold as having the most number of associates compared to their rival firms.

Coldwell Banker has 86,000 agents and brokers which are a far second while Re/Max employ 57,000 and Century 21 is lagging behind with 53,000. The three make up the next biggest real estate franchisors in the industry in terms of associate number.

The strategy is working well for Keller William as the increase in number of associate also saw a rise in closed deals last year. Garnering the same rate of increase at 19 percent on year over year performance, the firm closed 843,547 transactions that translated to a whopping $228 billion in sales. As a whole, this number indicates a 24 percent year-on-year increase. However, experts say that despite this massive number of agents employed by Keller Williams, there is no credible statistic yet that will show that in terms of productivity, having big numbers rule.

Meanwhile, in a report by Missoulian, Keller Williams has announced it will be setting up shop to serve Missoula and Ravalli Counties in Montana. While Keller Williams Western Montana Real Estate is relatively new to both counties, the agency has been doing business in Montana for quite some time already. The firm's specialties are residential, land farm and ranch, golf properties and luxurious homes plus they also delve in investment properties and commercial real estate. It is well known that Keller Williams is the biggest in the world when talking about real estate franchising.
