Fashion blogger Jacey Duprie just renovated her Los Angeles home and the result was stunning.
According to Pop Sugar, the blogger for Damsel in Dior and her husband Grant Leavitt worked on making their home stylish and gave it a contemporary makeover.
As featured in My Domaine, Duprie said that they wanted to have a more contemporary home in California and they aspired to give the place a Scandinavian feel. The 1919 West Los Angeles home has a total of 1,800 square feet of living spaces with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
It was reported that the place underwent extensive renovations for over a year and a half as Duprie said that they had to gut the entire home, from the walls to the floors. The couple added a master bedroom which includes a stunning master bathroom and of course a massive closet space. The killer closet is organized according to Duprie's style, and she said that it is important that her closet is in order that way because her job centers on fashion and her closet is also her workspace.
Duprie revealed that it is important for her that the family sits around a table during dinners as it is the way for everyone to connect after a long day, so she considers the dining area as the heart of their home.
Because she travels frequently for her work, Duprie said that they wanted to stick with using a very neutral color palette throughout the place in order for them to add statement pieces depending on the time of the year and to ensure that they would never grow tired of a particular pattern. She also emphasized the importance of leaving the space clutter-free. Pictures of the property reveal that the place is filled with Midcentury-modern furniture and art accents like the framed photo by Duprie's good friend, Gray Malin.
