Last Feb. 4, the paparazzi were alarmed to see graffiti spray paint on the front door of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's new mansion. Interestingly, the famous couple, who have a large following on social media, did not make a big fuss about the incident. TMZ found out that this is because Kardashian and West are actually the culprits behind the vandalism.
The two sprayed the words "I [heart] Kanye" and "I [heart] Kim" on each side of their mansion's entryway as a pre-Valentine's inside joke. According to the report, neighbors and security personnel panicked upon noticing the graffiti, and even called Kardashian to notify her.
Kardashian reportedly calmed everyone down and reassured them that the prank was just a little fun between them. Their house, located at the exclusive Hidden Hills in Los Angeles, is still undergoing the final stretch of construction, so the botched paint job will be removed soon enough.
According to the Daily Mail, Kardashian and West bought the lavish estate for $20 million in August 2014 after selling another mansion in Bel Air, which they have never stayed in. The couple spent over a year and more than $2 million renovating their new property.
The sprawling estate spans more than 3 acres. It is said to be a "mini Versailles," with its opulent French design. The home has around 16,000 square feet of living space and features a French chateau design. The exteriors are made of stones in warm tones and black accents. The property includes eight bedrooms, a vineyard, a separate guest house, multiple fountains and two swimming pools.
Just recently, Kardashian and West also purchased the adjacent 2,842 square feet lot to convert it into a massive playground for their two young children, North and Saint.
