What was once the home of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral School and Convent, where Academy Award winning director Martin Scosese studied as a child, has now been turned into a residential townhouse. The New York landmark is now part of the new Residences at Prince, and was designed by Marvel Architects.

The townhouse located on 32 Prince Street, between Mulberry and Mott Streets in Manhattan's Nolita neighborhood, boasts of seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three half bathrooms, all throughout 8,069 square meters. The five-level townhouse is now on the market with a $25 million price tag.

The home, originally built in 1825, still holds its original structure. The lavish New York City apartment highlights its elegance through several detail work and vivacious space. Architectural Digest reports:

"The Federal-meets-Greek-Revival style residence, which still boasts its original 1825 façade, is set to be completed in fall 2016, in Nolita's most historic section. Within its storied walls, the townhouse showcases five levels of living space with stunning details, such as high ceilings, five-inch-wide oak plank flooring, paneled doors, period-style modlings, and three fireplaces."

It doesn't stop there: the townhouse has its own private elevator, allowing residents as well as guests to have easy access to every floor in the home. But then again, who wouldn't want to walk up and down on its grand curved staircase?

The home also has windows on three sides of the home, showcasing views of the "cloistered cathedral and a private garden." Meanwhile, the parlor floor encompasses a formal living room, as well as a dining room.

Further more, there is a large open kitchen and a casual dining room, which gives direct access to the bi-level garden - which is well-tended, by the way - and the outdoor entertaining and dining space.

The townhouse is perfect for anyone who values privacy in the bedroom: the master bedroom occupies a floor of its own, complete with a study and spa-like free-standing bath. The last two highest floors, on the other hand, features the family room and play room.
