Argentinian journalist, Jorge Lanata, bought a condo for $2.55 million, recent news reports.
Lanata bought this three-bedroom condo from a Brazilian entrepreneur and a former businessman in Philips Latin America and Nivea Brasil. According to Miami-Dade County, Lanata himself together with Sara Elizabeth Stewart Brown, his wife, negotiated the purchase together. Situated at Asia, 900 Brickell Key Boulevard, this condo tower developed by J Scott Architecture has three bathrooms and has an overall space of 2,500 square feet.
Hernan Golod of Fortune International Realty, Lanata's representative said in an interview that Lanata was looking for luxury and at the same time privacy when he decided to buy the property.
Golod shared via The Real Deal that Lanata has art collections and he finds Asia's walls incredible, not to mention Asia being the priciest building on the island. Completed in 2008, Asia features 123 units.
County's property data show that the condo Unit 1804 was first sold by Paulo Zottolo, former CEO of Nivea Brasil and Philips Latin America, and Patricia Zottolo, the unit's first owners, at $1,020 per square foot. Paulo and Patricia bought the unit for $1.8 million in 2012. Paulo is currently the head of Amazon Waters.
