Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in partnership with PRISA Group and McConnell Valdés Consulting, Inc., is expanding the Hyatt-brand presence in Puerto Rico with the opening of the new Hyatt Place San Juan/City Center in the capital city of San Juan.

                According to their press release in Business Wire, the new Hyatt Place San Juan/City Center offers 149 guestrooms that feature separate spaces to sleep, work and play, as well as a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper. The $29 million hotel also features the Hyatt Place brand's intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour Gallery Menu, Coffee to Cocktails Bars, more than 3,165 square feet of Meeting spaces, a round-the-clock StayFit Gym, and an outdoor swimming pool area.

            Gisela Rivera will take on the role as the General Manager of the Hyatt Place San Juan/City Centerand will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including overseeing the hotel's 60 associates and ensuring that guests encounter the thoughtful service for which the Hyatt Place brand is known.
