Famed music producer Mo Ostin has listed his Los Angeles Home for $19 million. According to Realtor, the eight-bedroom mansion sits on more than three acres of lavish land, and it features an entry hall with soaring high ceilings.
Listing details of the property say that the home was designed with traditional elegance on a grand scale. The formal living room has a wood-burning fireplace. It has a dining room, spacious family room and gourmet kitchen that is equipped with modern appliances.
The hallways also have high ceilings. There's a wood-paneled library and a sun-drenched breakfast room. The master bedroom has a dual master bathroom and features massive walk-in closet and office space. There are four additional bedroom suites and two staff bedrooms.
Outside the home is the well-manicured grounds with multiple large grass areas, and there is also an elegant swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen nestled among mature trees, making it a perfect space for entertaining guests or house parties. It also features a vast motor court that provides off-street parking for at most 20 cars.
Many may not know Ostin, but he worked with many talented artists over the years. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Fame in 2003 by Paul Simon, Neil Young, and Lorne Michaels, and he also served as the CEO for Warner Bros. Records for 20 years. He has worked with many famous artists like Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, and Nelly Furtado.
Aside from that, he also worked for some big companies like Verve, Reprise Records and DreamWorks. He is also involved in many philanthropic works, one of which is donating $20 million to his alma mater UCLA where a basketball center is named after him.
