Fans rejoice at the most recent update on "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev's love life which now involves her new TVD co-star Chris Wood.
According to Hollywood Life, the TVD actress and her new co-star had been seen kissing in public on December 14 which sparked frenzy on ocial media and left fans elated.
Eyewitnesses, according to Hollywood Life, reportedly spotted the two ice skating and sharing gestures of affection publicly in New York City.
Dobrev, who plays lead character "Elena" in "The Vampire Diaries" -- and several other of her doppelgangers -- had been the subject of several rumors and speculations since her break up with TVD vampire hunk Ian Somerhalder, The Epoch Times reported.
Her love life, says The Epoch Times report, was even more highlighted after her Somerhalder began dating "The Twilight Saga" actress Nikki Reed.
After her relationship with Somerhalder, rumors of the 25-year-old actress dating former "Gossip Girl" bachelor Chace Crawford had surfaced. The two allegedly spent Thanksgiving together.
That idea, however, was immediately shot down after a Hollywood Life source, in another report, clarified that they are only friends, adding that the relationship of the two can be described as "perfect for a friendship but nothing more."
And now a new man seems to be entering the picture. Chris Wood, more popular for his role as Adam Weaver in CW Network television's series "The Carrie Diaries," has recently joined "The Vampire Diaries" in its new season as Malachai "Kai" Parker, the witch psychopath intending to wreak havoc in Mystic Falls.
Wood's love life, which includes sharing the perfect chemistry with "The Carrie Diaries" co-star AnnaSophia Robb, according to the Daily Mail, has been pretty quiet so the link to Dobrev seems inevitable.
The new couple, now dubbed as "Woodbrev," ignited excitement among TVD fans, many of whom took to Twitter to express their support for the artists, Hollywood Life noted.
One expressed her admiration for the 25-year-old actress' charming boyfriend choices while another wrote: "PLEASE GET MARRIED AND HAVE BABIES @ninadobrev @ChristophrWood I LOVE YOU."
Though both TVD stars are yet to confirm whether rumors about their love lives are true, a source from the Hollywood Life in a separate report, claims that the two are taking it slow and are not looking into starting something serious anytime soon.
"They are great friends who have hooked up on the recent times they have been out together but they are not currently looking to start a relationship. They are both very cool about it and it has not ruined working with each other or caused any issues," the source says.
