Located at the end of a cul-de-sac in Santa Monica Canyon, "Fashion Police" co-host Melissa Rivers just dropped a whopping $11 million on this six-bed, seven-bath mansion.
According to Trulia, the mansion measures 7,048 square feet and is truly a South California dream home. Originally built in 1991, the contemporary Mediterranean-style property is designed with classic roof tiles and sits on almost a full acre of land. Inside, there are spacious bedrooms and areas which include a formal dining room, a formal living room and a two-story library/office. On the outside, the mansion is tucked behind the gates and is burrowed under a canopy of trees which provides the place total privacy for the residents.
The interior features a great room which includes a family room and an informal dining area perfect for family gatherings. There is also a chef's kitchen that is equipped with high-end professional appliances, custom cabinetry and a butler's pantry. The second floor is where the four bedrooms are located, and this includes the stunning master bedroom which features dual walk-in closets which will come in handy for Rivers. The extra space could also be useful as she may still be keeping some sentimental items from her late mother. For the other items, The Daily Beast reported that Rivers is planning on auctioning some of Joan Rivers' clothing, jewelry and paintings in June.
There is also an attached guesthouse that is complete with a kitchenette. There is also another bedroom which could be a guest room or a maid's suite. The exterior also features a living area complete with cooking station, covered dining and a fire pit. Aside from the swimming pool, there is also a basketball court and a private football field. A gated motor courtyard is also available which can park six cars. In addition to that, there is also a three-car garage.
