Renowned chef Julia Child's house is now open for rent.

According to Conde Nast Traveler, starting June, fans of Child can now book her three-bedroom property in Provence via Airbnb.

Back in February, one fan of the famous chef purchased the house of her idol. Makenna Johnson bought Child's cottage and has decided to put it up for rent among other fans of the chef. At first, Johnson wanted to turn the cottage into a place where culinary enthusiasts can learn more tips and styles of cooking.

In fact, Johnson's original plan is still set to come true because Child's cottage will be open as a culinary retreat house between this month until June. After that, it will be open for rent until September and then will become a culinary haven again from September to December. Other than the culinary facilities, Johnson's house also has a yoga space that can accommodate 10 students at a time.

Meanwhile, according to Boston Magazine, a lot of people are now looking into renting her place for the month of June. Johnson has also decided to retain the name "La Pitchoune" for the property.

While speaking with the publication, Johnson said, "I started thinking about how Julia Child was a total peacenik. She worked for the government, and the best from back then is she was very democratic. She was very involved in improving communities through food."

If you want to learn more about cooking then heading to Johnson's cottage will be ideal for you. On the contrary, if you want to rent out Child's place for your upcoming vacation, they this will also be a great idea.

As of late, the price for the rental has not yet been published on Airbnb. More features and amenities are also expected to be listed once the property goes up for rent.
