One thousand people recently made it to the Guinness World of Records for breaking a human domino using only a huge mattress. According to Elle Décor, employees at Aaron's Inc., and electronics and appliance company held on to their respective mattresses for 13 minutes and 28 minutes.
All 1,200 participants successfully broke the Guinness World Record for the largest human domino when they covered 70,000 square feet in two huge exhibit halls. Aaron's Inc. CEO John Robinson explained that the event was designed to be a team building event.
Prior to breaking the record, a domino expert first set up 34 rows of mattresses by Woodhaven Industries. The brand is also owned by Aaron's Inc.
According to the publication, the mattresses used in the event will be donated to charities in and around Washington, D.C. This means that not only did the employees of Aaron's Inc. break a Guinness World Records, they will also be able to help the less fortunate.
Meanwhile, a video from the event was published on Guinness World Records' official YouTube page. The video lasts for almost two minutes, and it shows how each of the employees regardless of sex, age, size, and height each fell on their backs on the mattress.
It is believed that the event wasn't an easy one, and true enough the video reveals that there were some instances wherein the speed of the human domino's fall would slow down. Still, each of the employees put their game face on and each one contributed into making the event a true success.
Some YouTube users also commented on the video by saying that this one of the few records that actually look really fun.

Guinness World of Records replied by saying that the company was given a certificate for their achievement. Each of the participants may also apply for a certificate of participation.
