There are some rumors that Donald Trump's house will be open for tours sometime soon. According to Elle Décor, Airbnb recently came up with a survey to find out how many people would be interested to go on a tour inside Trump's house. The results revealed that approximately 30 percent of Airbnb users are open to the idea.
The research also revealed that 71 percent of Americans believe that most presidential candidates are distant or out of touch from middle class Americans. As a result, 80 percent of those who participated in the survey said that they want the presidential candidates to host or open their homes for a quick tour.
The survey also revealed that majority of the respondents want Hillary Clinton to host a house tour, but Trump closely lagged behind her.
According to Wired, the idea of opening one's home for presidential candidates or vice versa isn't a new concept today. In the past, Vice President Al Gore lived and stayed with some of his supporters throughout the duration of his office. At some point, he also tagged along with some of those homeowners when they went off to work.
Meanwhile, most interestingly, Americans would rather visit Trump's home than allow him to go to their houses. The survey respondents also believe that Trump and his wife Melanie's house could be the most beautifully designed home among all of the other properties of the presidential candidates.
In other news, it would be quite impossible for the aspiring presidents of the United States to open their homes up for guests or strangers. After all, security and safety are the priority.
Still, it would be quite an interesting idea to imagine being able to rub elbows with these personalities. If you could do that to any of their homes, which one would you choose?
