Banker-turned-entrepreneur and semi-professional racecar driver Alan Wilzig has relisted his New York home with a whopping $20 million price cut. According to New York Curbed, the Tribeca mansion was first listed in 2014 for $44 million. It was reported that the interiors were significantly toned down, hence the huge price cut on the property.
Listing details reveal that the property has over 6,500 square foot of space and has three levels. The mansion only has three bedrooms and four full bathrooms but large living spaces. One of the key features of the home is the 2,200-square-foot private roof deck and the 800-square-foot patio.
The first floor of the room serves as the main living area, and it is perfect for entertaining guests. It consists of an open living and dining rooms, and the kitchen which opens to the patio. The living room has built-in television and a fireplace.
There is also a 14-foot aquarium which divides the living and dining areas. The kitchen features Brazilian Quartz eat-in Island and beautiful hardwood cabinetry. It is also equipped with stainless steel appliances. There is also an eight-person Sundance Optima spa that is complete with heaters and pumps.
The bedrooms are all located on the second floor. The master bedroom features a stunning master bathroom and a pair of cavernous walk-in closets. The two other bedrooms come with large closet space and full en-suite bathrooms. The basement consists a spacious mechanical room, a large office, TV room and a large recreation room.
The home is equipped with top-of-the-line security features, and the master bedroom also serves as a safe room. It is also equipped with WiFi-enabled thermostats where temperature can be controlled using an app.
Wilzig was portrayed in the movie "Wolf of Wall Street" as the character who introduces Leonardo DiCaprio's character to the woman who becomes his wife.
