Singer and songwriter Jason Derulo placed his Coconut Creek mansion on the market last year but since there were no takers, he has relisted the property for $2.25 million. According to Miami Curbed, the property was originally listed a year ago for $2.9 million. Derulo purchased the property for 1.75 million in 2012, so he is now looking for $500,000 in profit because of some renovation costs.
Listing details reveal that the contemporary mansion has a total of 13,000 square feet, and it sits on about two and a half acres of land. It is located just across the prestigious Adios Golf and Country Club.
The estate has a total of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Originally built in 2009, the mansion sits behind a gated entrance, and the exterior of the home features an oversized pool, raised spa, waterfall and a garage which was converted into a gym and a guest house. The resort-style backyard and the pool is bordered by glass enclosure along with the electric gated fence for security and privacy.
Derulo also renovated the place and added Italian marble floors and a mirrored dance studio and other recording facilities. It was also reported that it was in this property that he wrote some of his tracks in his previous album.
There are multiple balconies in the second floor which overlooks the formal living room that features dark and light grey alternating accent walls. The house also boasts a modern large gourmet kitchen that is equipped with Sub-zero appliances. There is also a game room and an office.
Listing agents describe the home as something spectacular, and they commended Derulo for the creative details on the property. The property is also part of a natural preserve area which is very seldom found in many luxury homes across Florida.
