The much-anticipated superhero film, "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice", is expected to hit theaters in 2016. But even though it's still a long way off, fans have been rummaging the nooks of the web in search for, well hopefully, the coveted trailer. There had been rumors in the past that a trailer was leaked online only to find out that it was already taken down.
But fans may just be flared up more as new wave of reports is seem confident enough to confirm that "Dawn of Justice" movie trailer will be released together with the debut of "Mad Max: Fury Road", according to Venture Capital Post.
"Mad Max: Fury Road" is set to have its premiere on May this year, which means that the longed-for teaser is slowly coming and is already within arm's reach.
But excited fans may need to hold off their excitement a bit as similar situations have unraveled their hopes not too long ago.
Rumors on the film's leaked trailer are nothing new to moviegoers. In October of last year, Batman on Film released an unofficial announcement that an initial trailer of the movie was "ready to go", which brought the fans into a state of euphoria. Of course, a bunch of trolls also made their presence felt and filled the internet with junk links to the trailer.
Also, in December of last year, there were hearsays that indeed a trailer of the movie was released through Reddit by an account name 4chan. In fact, according to reports, the teaser was highly descriptive, with detailed explanation of the scenes and important dialogues in the film. But fans were reduced to disappointment after knowing that the link of the video did not take them anywhere.
But things like these are expected to crop up especially when Warner Bros. films are on the line.
According to The Telegraph, "Mad Max: Fury Road" will carry out its first showing on the 25th of May this year, and it also confirms there are circulating reports that the trailer of "Batman vs. Superman" will also be released. The speculations have only come about after a series of gossips scattered online that an official trailer was leaked.
But if the same fate happens and the rumored movie preview release on May will not become a reality, moviegoers could at least refer to Badass Digest's decent description of the ultimate superhero clash movie:
"When Superman encounters a bad guy and uncovers his plan, he tells the villain, 'I won't snap your neck, I'm going to take you to prison,' an on-the-nose response to criticisms of the first movie. Of course Superman later loses his cool and threatens to break the bad guy's back, so he hasn't quite internalized everything yet."
"Mad Max: Fury Road" must also be a one cinematic marvel so it's worth the wait. And if the trailer of "Dawn of Justice" will go together with its debut, great; otherwise, that should be fine.
