The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" has already been slated for a 2015 release, but it would appear that "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" is getting more hype from Marvel fans. When the Avengers were first introduced to the big screen, fans were quick to notice that their friendly neighborhood web-slinging superhero was never in sight.

However, rumor has it that the tides have changed. Spider-Man might no longer be a no-show in this interesting pack of superheroes. Now, if the rumors are true, then it is likely that Peter Parker will be leading the bold group in carrying out their next mission, says Christian Today.

In the past ten years, the Spider-Man franchise went on a rollercoaster ride, according to Screen Rant. It went from being the biggest superhero franchise to being the smallest. This predicament is just not acceptable for Sony. It is because of the recent web-slinging movie flops that "The Amazing Spider-Man 3 & 4", along with the pitched spinoffs for "Venom" and "Sinister Six" were drowned.

At one point, Marvel even wanted to come up with another version of Spider-Man, one that was not played by Andrew Garfield, and introduce him in "Captain America: Civil War," which has already been scheduled to premiere on May of 2016. However, with the movie to start filming soon, Marvel and Sony just did not have enough time.

Those who are loyal to the comics are well aware of the events that are about to transpire. For instance, in "Captain America: Civil War," Steve Rogers, more famously known as Captain America, will be meeting his demise through the hands of Crossbones, as reported by Latino-Review.

Additionally, "Thor: Ragnarok" will also be the death of a lot of Asgardians. The famous hammer-holding superhero will be locked in a special "galactic prison," with no indication if it is still in Asgard or somewhere else.

This could only mean that by the time "Avengers 3: Infinity War Part 1" premieres, Captain America is already dead, and Thor is gone. With two out of the team, the Avengers can clearly not keep up with their enemies. This is why, according to Ecumenical News, Sony and Marvel gave the nod to include Spidey in the action-filled blockbuster.

However, Latino-Review has also speculated that "Avengers 3: Infinity War Part 1" will be featuring a whole new line-up of superheroes, namely Black Panther, Ant-Man, Quicksilver, Luke Cage, Vision, Wasp,Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Iron Fist, Power Woman/Jewel, Daredevil, any of the classic and the new Inhumans, or any of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Many believe that the original Avengers will be returning to the franchise, in "Avengers: Infinity War Part 2." Surprisingly, it even looks like Captain America will be resurrected, too.
