A new DLC for the "Grand Theft Auto V" has been leaked, which may be the reason behind the delay in the release of the much-awaited "Heists DLC." Reports are circulating that the latest leaked source codes include environmental elements that would add more excitement to the upcoming game.
According to Latin Times, YouTuber DomisLive has discovered new source codes that would let gamers encounter environmental elements in their heists operations.
Among those DomisLive found out were a code for "SET_TSUNAMI_ENV" and "SET_AVALANCHE_ENV." The two codes were said to bring elements that could affect the heist missions and make the game more exciting for the players.
However, the new DLC codes are rumored to only work for current generation consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
With the said DLC codes, YouTuber DomisLive deduced that the heists would happen in the North Yankton DLC--a new area rumored to come with the Heists DLC update.
Aside from the additional elements that the "GTA V Heists" update promise to bring, many gamers are in great anticipation of the missions offered in the upcoming game update.
A report by Gospel Herald described at least four new missions, which will definitely excite loyal fans of this popular video game.
Gamers would have the chance to rescue a person in the "Hostage Deal CnC Mission." A hostage taken by a nonplayable character from one gang would have to be saved and transferred to another safe house.
Meanwhile, a "Prison Van Rescue CnC" would entail players to acquire a van to come to the aid of one of their gang members.
Perhaps one of the most exciting missions in the upcoming update is the "Weapons Deal CnC Mission," in which the player would need to track down a hiding criminal and surrender him to the police. Once the criminal is in their custody, the police would then trade some of their weapons for money.
However, it appears that Rockstar Games, the developer of "GTA V" did not stop with new missions only. DomisLive further reported about two new additional heists, which involve a rural bank and a country bank.
The game's developer has not announced an official release date for the "Heists DLC," but stated that it would definitely come before they release the "GTA V Online" for PC.
Rockstar scheduled the launch of the game in PC on March 24, which could mean that the Heists update is about to come sooner than expected.
