Zombie game "Dying Light" was released this quarter and while many enjoyed the game, many gamers found that as one went on in the game, the game became easier. As one unlocks more weapons and powerful abilities, there became less of a challenge as you play "Dying Light".
After listening to the complains of fans, Techland has just announced over Twitter that a hard mode along with new skins would be coming soon and best of all, for free!
"You asked for it. We will deliver. The first of many additions to come," said the team through the Dying Light official Twitter account.

While Techland didn't specific the exact date, the update can be expected to arrive sometime next month. According to GameSpot, the Polish Developer's free expansion packs, due out in March, will feature offer "more difficult nighttime scenarios and deadlier, 'more vicious' enemies."
As opposed to the previous gaming system, players will have to make do with less resources and supplies.
"A few gamers have already finished Dying Light and are asking for more. So we're going to give our community a new challenge that will put everything they learnt in the game to the test. Hard Mode is exactly that," quoted the site of producer Tymon Smektala. "We're aiming to have it out around the start of March, if not sooner. Depends on how brutal we wanna make this on people."
Stevivor even reports that one player has claimed to beat the game without the use of any weapons.
The upcoming DLC will be available in various platforms, namely PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, and plans are in place to release official moddling tools for PC.
Since the launch of the game, "Dying Light" has seen over 1.2 million players. As one of the new and exciting games, Techland has faced pressure to maintain the interest of players so this new Hard Mode is the firm's attempt to remain relevant in the long-run.
The game is action-packed and players control an undercover operative -- Kyle Crane -- whose mission is to retrieve data for GRE. As the story of the game progresses, Crane discovers that things aren't quite as they seem and focuses on helping a survivor group, summarized Game Informer.
