Fans of the video game, "Grand Theft Auto V," are in great anticipation of when the "Heists DLC" would finally arrive in their hands. As the speculations continue on when the update would finally see the light of day, rumors on what could be expected have gone viral. A report circulated that gamers could finally see the introduction of a new character in the upcoming update.
According to News Everyday, an avid fan of the game, YouTube user TwoDynamic, gathered clues from the recent trailer released by game developer, Rockstar Games.
Drawing focus on the planning board shown at the trailer, one name jumped up on the screen, "Rashkovsky." Upon further inspection of the clip, it showed that the heist operation would be done in prison, which prompted gamers to call it as the "Prison Break Heist."
The players would have to get a man, named "Rashkovsky," from prison and take him to the beach where the group would assemble once again. The mission is said to have a payout of $550,000 to the group of four who would handle the task.
No further clue was offered as to who "Rashkovsky" is, and if he would play a further role after escaping prison in the video game.
Rockstar Games has previously announced that the "Heists DLC" would arrive before the release of "GTA V Online" on March 24. This led many gamers to believe that the update is coming as early as February. However, no announcement from the game developer has been made regarding the specific release date.
Perhaps one way to tide the fans over is a rumored new leak discovered by Mod Nation.
In a report by IB Times, the forum recently found information that could possibly lead to a "Valentine-themed DLC."
The references to a new DLC was found by the people behind the forum who have "been analyzing the recent number of test files uploaded to the Rockstar Games Services."
The site further explained that the codes they discovered were used for internal testing and not through game files, which gives it the possibility that it may not actually be included into the final game to be released for gamers.
The site further said that with the speed the codes were being uploaded and tested, it's "highly likely" a Valentine's Day DLC would come out. However, it is not a guarantee as the forum does not work directly with Rockstar and has no direct source of information from the firm.
