Audiences are excited to see "Fifty Shades of Grey" in the cinemas but one lovely lady who will not be seeing the film will be Amelia Warner, the wife of Jamie Dornan.
Dornan, who plays the lead actor Christian Grey in the erotic romance, stars in the film opposite the lovely Dakota Johnson playing Ana Steele. Warner may be uncomfortable with the content of the film, reports PerezHilton.
The 32-year-old actor has admitted to being uncomfortable himself with some of the scenes in the movie.
"I mean, they were uncomfortable to a point, but you know, we were surrounded by people that we had built the trust with and that we respect, so I think that we all got it to a place where we actually took the discomfort out of it, and we just got to see it and approach it in a professional way and enjoy it," quoted Just Jared of the Northern Irish actor while Today.
However, with regards to his wife, Dornan confessed that his significant other supports him but isn't interested in seeing the flick.
"She doesn't want to watch this," said Dornan via PerezHilton. "She wants to support me and my work. I won't be able to sit there myself. I am not going to put any pressure on her either way. It's her decision. She's well aware that it's pretend, but it's probably not that comfortable to watch."
It's understandable that Amelia wouldn't want to see the film. Even though it's fiction, seeing your partner pretend to be intimate with someone else isn't easy to swallow.
Dakota's Family Banned From Film?
Johnson, 25, is proud of the film. She's spoken highly of the film's director, Sam Taylor-Johnson and per The Telegraph, the actress admitted she's not ashamed of her body. As someone who's comfortable in her own skin, she believes in the power of confidence.
Johnson also said she thinks, "nudity and sexual scenes in movies are beautiful when they're tastefully done." However, she does reveal that she's banned her family from watching the film. "I don't want them to see it. I wouldn't want to see them doing it."
Johnson is the daughter of celebrity parents -- Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson - and her grandmother, Tippi Hedren, was the muse of Hitchcock.
The film, based on the books of author E.L. James, is due out on Feb. 13. See the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trailer below:
