‘The Conjuring 2’ Release Date & Spoilers: Next Case Revealed – ‘Most Terrifying Experience’ for the Warrens?

"The Conjuring" was so successful that the public just had to have another cup of the horrific adventures of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Thankfully for those who have been shipping for a sequel, "The Conjuring 2" is in the works, says Cross Map.

However, instead of continuing the story of the Perron family, the movie makers opted to focus on a whole new paranormal dilemma. Sadly, the storyline remains unclear as of the moment. The only thing previously reported is that this new plot features the "most terrifying experience" for the Warrens. Still, this hurdle is not enough to keep horror buffs from speculating what the second installment will be about.

The title of the upcoming horror film is believed to be "The Conjuring: The Enfield Poltergeist." Rumor has it that, although this particular boogeyman gripped the United Kingdom in fear, Movie Pilot says the film will be set in the United States.

The Enfield Poltergeist baffled people from all walks of life, ranging from policemen to occult experts. Even Britain's most hardened newspaper reporters were puzzled by it. The case involved incidents of levitation, furniture being moved through the air from one side of the house to another, and various objects zooming to and fro and hitting the other people in the house.

A person who claims to be a close friend of the Warrens posted online that the movie will be about two allegedly possessed sisters who lived in Enfield, England, and that the incidents happened back in the late '70s.

"Warren said she personally saw them levitate," the post read. "Even saw one of the sisters dematerialize in front of her only to be found 20 minutes later stuffed into an oversized fuse box - contorted in such an unnatural way."

"Lorraine also said that the demon spoke directly to her husband on many occasions," the statement continued. "Warren cited this case as one of the most terrifying experiences of her career."

"The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist" has already been slated to hit theaters on June 10, 2016. Although production will be done in the United States, the cast may have to be British since Enfield is in England. Either they have to naturally British actors, or they will be American actors who will be told to speak with a British accent.

Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will be reprising their roles as Lorraine and Ed Warren, respectively.
