The 24th James Bond film, titled "Spectre" is currently under production and new footage from behind-the-scenes activities and filming delays have caused a number of rumors to circulate.
Aston Martin Car
The newest 007 film is currently shooting in England's Blenheim Palace and according to Motor Authority, a video was taken showing the Aston Martin DB10 with a driver rig sitting on top of it.
It was earlier confirmed that the 007 partnership with Aston Martin would continue and that the debonair super-spy will once again drive an Aston Martin which has been specifically designed as an exclusive car for the franchise. The supercar set to appear in the film is called the Aston Martin DB10.
"In the same year that we celebrate our 50-year relationship with 007, it seems doubly fitting that today we unveiled this wonderful new sports car created especially for James Bond," quoted Business Insider of Aston Martin CEO Dr. Andy Palmer in a statement.
He continued, "To be partnering once again with EON Productions is great news for this company and for everyone around the world that loves to see Bond at the wheel of an Aston Martin."
Unfortunately for those who want to have their own Bond car, the DB10 is not slated for a production run with only 10 vehicles being commission and all earmarked for the film.
Filming Delayed?
Recently, Inquisitr reported that filming hit a wall after Daniel Craig, playing the role of James Bond, sustained a knee injury in London.
"Daniel Craig sustained a knee sprain this week while shooting a fight sequence on the set of Spectre. He will be filming on Saturday as planned," reported the site following a spokesperson's confirmation of the injury and assurance that filming will continue.
Now, new reports indicate that "Spectre" is facing protests from an ancient Christian Archconfraternity of the Departed who is against the film shooting in a famous Roman cemetery, reported local Il Messaggero newspaper (via The Guardian).
"The funeral scenes are now likely to be shot at the Museum of Roman Civilisation, also in Rome," wrote The Guardian.
Additionally, back in December, Design & Trend recalls how nine cars customized for a film sequence were stolen from a garage.
As it stands, the film hasn't announced any delays but with the tight schedule it's on, it won't be a surprise if they'll push the film back should another unforeseen circumstance take place.
"Spectre" will star Craig, who returns with his "Skyfall" costars, namely, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Rory Kinnear, reports ScreenRant. The official synopsis for the film is as follows: "A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE."
