Olympian Bruce Jenner fatal Malibu crash was reportedly capture on video by an MTA bus and it doesn't look good for the reality TV star. On Feb. 7, the 65-year-old in an Escalade allegedly hit a Lexus -- driven by Kim Howe, who died at the scene -- in front of him which in turn caused it to go into oncoming traffic. A Hummer then collided with the Lexus which resulted in the death of Howe.
While the exact picture of how the incident happened has yet to be determined, a Los Angeles city bus recorded the multi-car crash, reports TMZ. The site claims that the video, in the possession of law enforcement officials, shows that Jenner struck both the Lexus and the car in front of it (a Prius).
Sources of the online publication detail that the bus, which was behind the Hummer at the time of the collision, recorded the entire incident via its front, back and side cameras.
"Law enforcement will not tell us what's on the video, but sources familiar with the video in question tell us it's clear the Lexus never made contact with the Prius. Bruce hit the Lexus, which propelled it into oncoming traffic and then struck the Hummer. Bruce then continued on and hit the Prius," detailed TMZ.
Apparently the video makes a compelling case for the hypothesis that the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star was following the Lexus too closely. If proven, could result in a vehicular manslaughter charge.
A vehicular manslaughter charge in California could carry a sentence of up to six years in prison.
Mail Online notes that the Kardashian-Jenner family patriarch was not injured in the crash. Jenner passed an on-site roadside sobriety test and agreed to provide his cellphone records to prove he was not using his mobile device during the fatal road accident.
On the day of the crash, Bruce, the ex-husband of Kris Jenner, released a statement (via Mail Online): "My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident."
He added, "It is a devastating tragedy, and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."
Bruce Jenner is rumored to be going through a sex change. The reality star is said to be in the process of transitioning into a woman, which will be featured in an upcoming docuseries. The plans for the alleged series has been put "on hold" following the deadly car crash.
