According to an article in OK! Magazine, the two musicians rekindled their romance after Perry's halftime performance at the Super Bowl. Mayer was all praises for his ex-girlfriend then and said that the show was "amazing." The magazine further noted that the two began seeing each other after the event. However, they have not made anything public as of the moment.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life said that the two are eager to take their relationship to the next level. The reported also added that the "No Such Thing" singer and the ex-Mrs. Brand are expecting their first child together.
A source close to the couple revealed to the magazine that the two are very eager to start a family.
"The buzz in her close group of friends is that she's two months pregnant," said the source. In addition, the insider claimed that the couple want to make things official between them and plan to tie the knot soon.
"They're getting married in April," revealed the source.
According to the same insider, the "Fireworks" singer was extremely happy with the news but reportedly hesitated in telling the baby-daddy for fear that he might not take it well. However, Mayer was reportedly ecstatic and is keen on getting married soon.
"John adores Katy and has been a mess since their last breakup," said the insider. "He wants to start a family."
"They want to spend their lives together, and it looks like that's exactly what's going to happen," the source said.

Meanwhile, a friend close to Perry denied the rumors, reported Mirror. In addition, the friend pointed out that Perry is too busy with her commitments to be tied down at the moment.
"She can't even think about getting pregnant right now. She is in the middle of her world tour," said the insider.
Mayer and Perry began dating in 2012 but broke up in February 2015 after being on and off as a couple. However, the two remained in contact even after their split.
A friend of Perry told People that, "They actually buried the hatchet back, and they are friends."
