The plot of the upcoming “American Horror Story” Season 5 remains unknown among fans, but that does not stop them from speculating what the season could be about.
According to Game N Guide, the storyline might focus on Operation Top Hat. The fifth season of "American Horror Story" might have something to do with "magic," it added.
Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weekly that the clear emphasis on the top hat angle in Season 4 was no accident. "That is a big Season 5 clue!" he said. "It's an arcane clue, but it's very purposeful. And, it illuminates something that you'll be, like, 'Oh! You dirty b***h!'"
He also dropped more clues, saying, "They're all connected. They're all very separate but there's clues every season... There are purposeful connections, character connections, and similarities and things that connect that we'll continue to connect moving forward."
But new information have surfaced that point to a new possibility for the fifth season’s story.
The International Business Times reported that Kathy Bates might be revisiting the show pretty soon.
One of Bates’ fans asked her on social media whether or not she will be returning to the horror show. She did not say that she will, but she did not say that she won't, either. “Time will tell! Stay tuned, #AHS fans," she wrote on Twitter. From the perspective of an “AHS” lover, things are looking quite positive for Bates. “Stay tuned” could mean an announcement will happen soon.
“I love getting these fantastic characters to play,” Bates told E! Online before Season 4 concluded. According to Bates, the show’s co-creator, Ryan Murphy, had contacted her and told her that he wants to take her on for the next season. “It’s getting hard to refuse, let me tell you! Everything’s grown so much even since last year. It’s amazing. I can’t believe it.”
Now that Jessica Lange has confirmed that Season 4 was, indeed, her last participation in “American Horror Story,” fans are wondering whether or not a new character will be introduced, or if the show is going to focus on Tate Langdon, portrayed by Evan Peters. The storyline might be a bit more interesting, especially for today's youngsters, since Venture Capital Post is convinced that Evan Peters might be the sole lead star.
