Singer-actress Demi Lovato and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama have been in a long-term relationship and recently sparked engagement rumors after Lovato was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring. While fans were quick to jump to proposal speculations, the "That 70s Show" alum was quick to extinguish them saying he and his girlfriend haven't gotten engaged.
According to E! Online, Valderrama clarified nothing has happened during an discussion with E!'s Marc Malkin.
"We're not engaged," said the hunky actor and teased it's nothing something that's out of the realm of possibilities. "But you know it's something that I definitely look forward to in the future. We'll see."
"You know, who knows?" continued the 35-year-old.
Engagement rumors have been circulating for a while and according to a source of Inquisitr, the "Skyscraper" singer is keen on walking down the aisle soon.
"No one will be shocked if the two of them were to get engaged soon, as she's stated several times she wants it to happen in 2015," claimed an insider.
The lovely couple haven't been shy in expressing their love and affection for each other. Most recently, during Wilmer's birthday, he posted a heartfelt thank you message for his 22-year-old love over Twitter.
"I want to thank my sweet angel @ddlovato & my brother 4life @TADAO310.. For an awesome special birthday!! #Blessed," wrote the the actor.
Around the same time Lovato posted a photo of herself with Wilmer lying on her stomach sleeping and the puppy they share. She captioned the pic: "My boys are really sleepy.... And I'm the luckiest woman in the world..."
Demi has been very open about the positive impact that Wilmer has had on her life. After struggling with destructive activities, she told Fitness Magazine, for its January 2015 issue, that Wilmer was a big part of recovering from an eating disorder.
"It's been difficult. I almost went back to rehab for my eating disorder last summer. I was obsessing over food and terrified of it at the same time. Wilmer noticed and called me out on it, which was a relief."
The Disney actress has gone through a lot at such a young age. In 2011, the publication recalled how after years of self-harm, addiction and eating disorders, the pop princess entered rehab where she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
"I had two choices: I could pretend it never happened, or I could tell people the truth," she says. "I was tired of hiding and relieved to know what was wrong with me so I could finally do something to get better," explained Lovato of her experiences.
