As the hype for the release of the new "Heists DLC" for "Grand Theft Auto V" continues to rise, more online rumors persist as newer updates are leaked.
Popular YouTube user, DomisLive, reported that new vehicles would be introduced in the upcoming "Heists DLC," said IB Times. DomisLive took cue from renowned GTA 5 tipster Funmw2 who shared discoveries on the new vehicles and weapons to be be seen in the update.
According to Funmw2, new combat vehicles would be seen taking action in the upcoming video game. In early February 2015, the same tipster revealed that an attack helicopter, ATV, and HVY insurgent vehicle would be included in the new game, as reported in a separate report from IB Times.
However, the tipster was quick to clarify via a tweet that it remains unsure if the attack helicopter, called Hydra, would be a main vehicle in the heist missions.
But it seems that gamers would still be able to access and use them in certain missions though not readily available for selection when missions are still in the planning phase.
On another note, new vehicles have been shared by the same tipster which included a monster truck, called the Karin Technical, a heavy duty-looking armored car, dubbed as the Karin Kuruma, new motorcycles, and an upgraded Velum helicopter.
Another thing gamers could look forward to is the new heavy equipment and weapons that could be used in the upcoming heist missions, noted IB Times.
Images posted by Funmw2 showed different rifles, guns, night vision goggles, and even a camera. Another photo, which included a parachute, hinted at a possible air escape by the gamers.
One curious equipment, uploaded by Funmw2 on his Twitter, is a drill. This could be possibly used for making holes or breaking metal bars in banks or even prisons.
Fans eager to play the "Heists DLC" on their current-gen consoles, such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, would be happy to know that there are reportedly five missions in the upcoming heists.
However, Funmw2 noted that last-gen consoles, such as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will feature an additional heist to bring the missions on their version of the game to a total of six.
The tipster has not given any reason or speculation on the addition included in these particular consoles.
The Grand Theft Auto V "Heists DLC" is expected to come out soon after the game's developer, Rockstar Games, promised it would come out before the game is unveiled for the PC.
"GTA V" arrives March 24, 2015 on PC.
