New mom Scarlett Johansson has bought a new home in Los Feliz for nearly $4 million and its a beauty. The 30-year-old actress, who gave birth to daughter Rose Dorothy in Sept 2014, has moved into a new Los Angeles residence sprawling 3,500 square feet.
In an exclusive report by Variety, The "Lucy" actress, married to new husband Romain Dauriac, is the listed buyer of the property. The two-storey 1940s home located within the exclusive Los Feliz community spans nearly 1 acre and has 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (4 full and 2 half).
The home is very cozy with dark wooden floors that compliment the bright, glass-filled home that offers luxurious and modern amenities. Perfect for a family with a growing little one, the multi-million dollar estate also has a large garden and private pool for the family to enjoy.
Variety further details that the floor - espresso-toned - carryout across the inside of the home. In the ground floor, you will find a small entry doubling as a stair hall, living area, den with entertainment space as well comfortable dining area. The main feature of the home are the sliders that give a lot of natural light and allow easy movement from within and around to outside of the house.
The master suite on the second floor offers all the luxuries you could want. Step out balcony, sitting area with fireplace, walk-in closet, sky-lit bathroom and a view of the Hollywood sign.
Scarlett's new purchase also comes with a narrow veranda that runs along the front of the house and leads into the home generous lawn.
Other amenities, noted by Curbed, included in the celebrity's new home include a dedicated housekeeping desk, laundry room, terrace, grilling station, eight-person spa, and a poolside cabana.
This isn't the only real estate venture undertaken by the Hollywood superstar. Variety recalls that in April 2008, prior to her marriage to "Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds, Johansson spent $ 2.1 million on a two-bedroom penthouse in Midtown Manhattan. Most recently she dropped $2.2 million on a Hamptons beach house with 3,500 square feet prior to her engagement and marriage to Romain Dauriac in 2013.
