Another celebrity couple chose to move and raise their family in Beverly Hills. Word is out that Channing and Jenna Tatum recently acquired a mansion in the luxurious neighborhood for $6 million.
According to Los Angeles Times, the couple along with their daughter Everly finally chose a quaint Cape Cod-inspired home at the famous 90210 zip code. The cottage-style house was built in 1950 and still carries a lot of the designs popular during the time.
The six-bedroom and six-bathroom house has shingles with white accents found outside as well as features an attached guests house, with two suites and its own separate entrance for added privacy, noted Forbes.
It features a high ceiling complete with tall windows and hardwood floors to give the place that distinct charm found in English cottages.
Apart from the six-bedrooms, it also has a family room, formal living room, dining area, media room, which could be converted to a gym, and a wood-paneled library that doubles as an office.
The master suite has its own large bathroom that features huge windows to give the owners a view of nature outside and let the sunshine in for added brightness and light inside. A smaller yet charming suite could be found in the main house, which can serve as a bedroom for the couple's only child.
All the other rooms in the house have porches that give a view of the pool and garden for a relaxed scene.
However, the features of the charming house do not end in the four corners of the structure. It also has an outside living area with a patio and veranda with a view of the swimming pool. Guests could also enjoy a spa and an outdoor fireplace.
Stone terraces are found in the sprawling garden for those who want to get away from the heat by staying under the shade of the huge trees found all over the property.
Everything is set in a gated 4,835 square feet of property to keep the couple and their guests away from the prying eyes of the public.
The property's history of previous owners includes other celebrities such as actress Carrie Fisher who is known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars trilogy by George Lucas.
Fisher acquired the property for $925,000 in 1984 from the former owner, David Soul, who portrayed Detective Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchinson in the series "Starsky & Hutch."
The deal was closed with the help of listing agents Farrah Aldjufrie, Mauricio, and Eduardo Umansky.
