Gamers using the Microsoft Xbox One are in for an exciting treat. New games are coming to the console including an exclusive title as well as a game that is arriving earlier than usual.
A report by The Fuse Joplin confirmed that the first-person shooter video game, "Battlefield Hardline," is arriving to consoles at an earlier date. The video game by Electronic Arts, which is scheduled to go live on March 17, is now available for pre-download to Xbox One users.
This would give excited players the advantage of accessing it in advance and avoiding a possible lag once the other players download it on its release date as the size is a bit huge, which is said to be around 45GB.
This pre-download capability is available to those who ordered the game in advance via the Xbox Live Marketplace, said Just Push Start.
For the select few who chose to subscribe to the Electronic Arts Access program in the console, enjoying the game just got a bit earlier. Those with special EA Access would be able to try the game as early as March 12 for a limited time of 10 hours.
According to IGN, the premium subscription would also give gamers access to certain gameplays and members-only tourneys. There would be a first taste of expansion packs for the game, which is set for release in the coming months but which gamers could try.
These include the "Criminal Activity," "Getaway," and "Betrayal" gameplays.
Meanwhile, another game hitting the Xbox One console is the "Fable Legends." While the announcement was a surprise to those keeping track of games exclusive in Microsoft's console, what further made the game amazing is that it would be available for play for free.
According to Just Push Start, the game inspired by the "League of Legends" would have four characters that are playable for free. These characters would rotate every two weeks.
For those who want to stick to a specific character, they would have the option to unlock the hero but it would require purchase to do so. The character could be acquired either with real money or through the in-game currency.
If one gets tired of playing the hero, gamers could also choose to be the villain in the video game as even the bad guys' stories get developed in the storyline of the game.
"Fable Legends" is also available for free for the PC.
