'Transformers 5' Director Michael Bay Sued by Home Worker for 'Injuries' While Building Mansion

It looks like the famous director of the blockbuster "Transformers" franchise just could not catch a break. He was just done releasing his film last year as reported in Digital Spy, "Transformers: Age of Extinction" and is currently working on "Transformers 5," according to Screen Rant, a movie slated for release in theaters in the summer of 2017.

However, aside from that, he is currently facing a personal problem, specifically legal complaints from his former home worker.

According to TMZ, basing from the documents they have procured, the "Tranformers 5" director is indeed being sued by a construction worker. The home worker got himself injured while working on Michael Bay's mansion. He relayed that Bay did not disclose very important matters resulting to injuries in February 2013.

He said that there was a hole where he fell into, one that was just covered with plastic instead of strong materials. The fall caused serious injuries. He lamented that he should have been properly warned to take precautionary actions to avoid the unfortunate incident.

Still according to TMZ, the injured worker filed a legal suit and asking to be justly compensated for lost wages that he should have gained if not for the fall as he would still be working well. He is also demanding reimbursement for all medical bills that he paid for during treatment and recovery.

However, the plaintiff's name is still unknown as of this time and so are the detailed descriptions of his injuries. What is only clear now is that he "tumbled upon" the hole. There is also no feedback yet from Michael Bay's side.

The director reportedly bought the house way back in 2009. It was then demolished and rebuilt according to his desired specifications.

This isn't the first time a celebrity is faced with charges due to construction issues. According to a 2012 report by TMZ, Akon, an R&B artist known for singles like "Lock Up", "Smuck That", and "I Wanna Love You," faced a $51,000-lawsuit for unpaid construction bills involving his house in Georgia.

If the allegations about Michael Bay are true, he should learn a lesson from this, and focus on an important aspect of any construction activity: safety at all times.
