Kelly Clarkson Is Selling Her Encino, California Estate

Pop-rock superstar Kelly Clarkson, who is currently self-isolating with her family in Montana, has just put her luxurious home in Encino, California, on the market.

The Grammy Award-winning songstress and "The Voice" coach is now selling her home for $9,995,000 after residing there less than two years ago, according to the Compass Real estate listing. Ms. Kelly and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, bought the property in 2018 for $8,500,000.

The sprawling property sits on a 23,469-square-foot prime estate in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles and includes a main residence and a two-floor guest house. The 8-bedroom, 9-bathroom, 2-half-bath house offers a total of 9,839 square feet living space.

The home also boasts of modern architectural design with an open floor plan and high wood-beamed ceilings. The master suite features high ceilings, a fireplace, a private patio, a lounge area, and a massive walk-in closet.

The gourmet kitchen area, on the other hand, has three leather-finish marble islands and concrete sinks. Other features of the house include a home theater, a three-car garage, a gym, a game room, and a wine cellar.

Meanwhile, the two-level guest house offers a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The estate is nestled on park-like grounds dotted with mature palms plus a pool and spa. And speaking of outdoors, the backyard is an ideal place for entertaining guests thanks to a built-in lounge, a fire pit, and a fully equipped kitchen with a pizza oven.

Tennesse property still on the market

Last year, Ms. Clarkson lowered the asking price of her other listed property situated in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where she lived before relocating to Los Angeles. The price tag for the 7-bedroom, 9.5-bathroom residence was $8.75 million but has been reduced to $7,499,000 after being on the market for over a year.

The stunning Tennessee waterfront home sits on a 4-acre estate adjacent to two properties owned by the Army Corps of Engineers. The mansion features a central fountain, saltwater pool with a pavilion and a fireplace, sand volleyball court, two spas, and a deep-water dock.

A grand foyer, along with a sweeping double staircase, serves as a prelude to what else is inside this luxurious home. It features a movie theater, and a cowboy-themed bar complete with barstools, and saddles. The kiddie room has built-in bunk beds plus a play area. There is also a game room, a large gym, and a two-level office.

She and her husband repurchased the mansion in 2012 to the tune of $2.86 million and completely refurbished it.

Kelly Clarkson, born in Fort Worth, Texas, rose to fame in 2002 after winning on the first season of the "American Idol." She released her first single, "A Moment Like This," two weeks after emerging victorious in the said singing competition.

Clarkson became a coach on "The Voice" in 2018 alongside Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, and Blake Shelton. That same year, she announced that she would be hosting her very own variety talk show, which she said was her dream job. The "Kelly Clarkson Show" premiered in September 2019.

She is married to Brandon Blackstock and has two children. They are now social distancing in their Montana ranch, which she also featured on her YouTube channel end of March 2020.
