"Captain America: Civil War" will be out in theaters in May 2016, and it will be featuring an epic battle between two of Marvel's greatest superheroes. After the events that transpired in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," an act will be made for regulating all superhuman activity in the whole world.
This mandate will be creating a rift between the group, causing the Avengers to choose a side between Captain America, played by Chris Evans and Iron Man, played by Robert Downey, Jr. This rift will then develop into what could be considered as the epic battle between former allies, according to Movie Pilot.
If the third installment of the “Captain America” franchise will be loyal to the comics, then Steve Rogers and his allies will be losing to Iron Man’s side, Movie Pilot added. They will be imprisoned and he would later be killed by Sharon Carter and Crossbones, who might be played by Frank Grillo, right outside the courthouse. Rogers’s death marks the end of the Civil War, the report explained.
After Rogers dies, Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, played by Sebastian Stan, will be taking his place as Captain America, based from the comic book.
Daredevil to make an appearance?
To make “Captain America 3” even more interesting, rumor has it that there might be a "potential crossover appearance" of Daredevil, according to Cinema Blend. Charlie Cox, the star of the ABC Show, recently opened up about it but was very cautious with his statements, the report added.
“In this show, Daredevil feels special – like a big thing – not an everyday occurrence,” Cox told Empire Magazine. “It’s not like he’s one of that lot.” Although he was clearly not fully on board with the idea, he did reveal that the show has “casual Easter egg references” that may indicate its tie-up with the MCU.
Cinema Blend is also convinced that Daredevil could be the “incognito costumed crime-fighter” who will be a good fit for “Captain America: Civil War,” especially with the existence of the Superhero Registration Act in the storyline.
Additionally, apart from Daredevil, a separate Movie Pilot report says that Spider-Man will also be featured in "Captain America: Civil War". If the movie follows the comic book version of the story, this just might happen.
Tony Stark came up with a unique suit design for the web-slinging hero, who was initially part of his pro-Registration team, the report noted, adding that Peter Parker wore the suit for a time, but decided to change back to his original Spider-Man costume since he opted to transfer to Captain America’s side, the Secret Avengers side.
“Captain America: Civil War” will be released in the U.S. on May 6, 2016.
