Transforming Miami
Based on the press release from Waldorf Astoria, the soon-to-rise Miami residential building is described as "nine spiraling offset glass cubes" that "will transform Miami's skyline and distinguish the property's architecture from anything on the East Coast."
The world-renowned architect Carlos Ott collaborated with Sieger Suarez in designing the massive structure in Downtown Miami. Based on the rendered photos, the building resembles nine stacked glass cubes that are offset.
"The unique nature of this project largely comes from not only creating an iconic building but a distinguished sculpture that would permanently alter Miami's skyline with height and design never seen before," Ott said, as reported by ABC's Local 10.
Carlos Ott is the architect behind the world-famous Burj Al Arab in Dubai and other astonishing residential buildings in Miami, including the Echo Brickell, Echo Aventura, and Muse Sunny Isles.
